This week in Butteflies we have been practising our listening skills with lots of fun games such as guess the instrument, animal sounds and ‘what’s in the box?’. On Thursday we went for a walk to the end of the school field to watch the diggers, tractors and John Deere’s. On Friday afternoon we released a hedgehog back into the garden that the children had rescued as a baby last term. Since then the hedgehog has been cared for at a local animal shelter. Next week we plan to build a house for him and all his friends.
In Caterpillars we had to wait until the end of the week for a nice sunny day so we took advantage and played with water outside. Everyone is so happy to be playing outside.
