This week in Caterpillars we have been learning about how our emotions can change very quickly. We practised how to be calm and watching the clouds in the big blue sky. We also read books about friendship and made pictures to decorate our walls.
Butterflies have also been learning about friendship and they enjoyed reading about how Rainbow Fish looked after his friends. The children then made a collage of Rainbow Fish and talked about how knowing about their emotions is really important. Butterflies have also been into the woods and found slow worms and baby frogs. Some of the potatoes in our garden were ready to be harvested so we had fun digging them up. Next week we are going to enjoy the sunny weather by practising our mark making skills outside.
